St Mark

Welcome to St. Mark's church.

We have been serving the people of Whitehills, Spring Park and Obelisk for over sixty years.  Our modern building provides a flexible and inspirational setting for our Sunday services and for Christening services.  We would like to invite you to join our friendly and growing church family.

Here at St. Mark, we enjoy worship that is mainly of a low to middle church tradition and a worship group leads our music and singing.  With the exception of the second Sundays in the month, we gather on Sundays at 10am for a service of Holy Communion.  On the second Sundays of the month, we come together at about 9.45am for breakfast before moving into a relaxed and informal service at 10.30am, during which we enjoy exploring that day's theme.  This all-age, family-friendly service lasts about 45 minutes.  For those who wish to stay on, after a short pause to prepare the church, there is a simple service of Holy Communion at 11.45am.  On the third Sundays of the month, the 10am service is geared towards families of all ages.  On the other Sundays of the month, our children spend part of their time in Young People's Church continuing their worship on the same theme as the adults, and rejoin the adults for the Communion.

For more details of our Sunday services, please see Services at St. Mark.  All of our upcoming services are listed in the Church Calendar.

again I will say, Rejoice.
