  • Welcome to the Kingsthorpe Team Ministry

A warm welcome to the Kingsthorpe Team Ministry and our website.  Across our three churches - St. David's, St. John the Baptist's and St. Mark's - we have a variety of services and activities for people of all ages and stages in their journey of faith.  We offer a blend of traditional Eucharistic and contemporary worship, children's and youth activities, mid-week groups, and community events.

Whether you are a regular churchgoer or someone seeking to find out more about the Christian faith, we invite you to join us for friendship, fellowship and joyful celebration of the love of God.

Our vision is to grow together in faith
and to share God's love with all.

    Safeguarding

We take seriously our responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.  All of our children and youth work complies with the Team's Safe Parish policy.  A link to our Policy and Procedure can be found at the bottom of our Children and Youth page.

Canon Jane, our team rector writes...

Lent is fast coming upon us!  Lent is the 40 days before Easter.  Lent is when people often give things up, or it is a time when people take on doing extra things, be that spending more time in prayer or reading, or good works in preparation for Easter.

I wonder how you will spend Lent this year?  I believe it is a gift that if we choose to use it can make a large difference to Easter.

Within this parish we will be having pancakes, some to race with, some to eat, in all the different churches.  On Ash Wednesday 6th March the service of Ashing will be held at 11.15 am in St David's church and at 7.30 pm at St John the Baptist church.  All are welcome to either service.

We wish you a happy and Holy Lent and a joyous Easter.

    Canon Jane.
