  • Welcome to the Kingsthorpe Team Ministry

A warm welcome to the Kingsthorpe Team Ministry and our website.  Across our three churches - St. David's, St. John the Baptist's and St. Mark's - we have a variety of services and activities for people of all ages and stages in their journey of faith.  We offer a blend of traditional Eucharistic and contemporary worship, children's and youth activities, mid-week groups, and community events.

Whether you are a regular churchgoer or someone seeking to find out more about the Christian faith, we invite you to join us for friendship, fellowship and joyful celebration of the love of God.

Our vision is to grow together in faith
and to share God's love with all.

We take seriously our responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.  All of our children and youth work complies with the Team's Safe Parish policy.  A link to our Policy and Procedure can be found at the bottom of our Children and Youth page.

Canon Jane, our team rector writes...

As I write this I hope you are well and coping with the continued lockdown?  At the moment we have no idea when the churches will be open, but in the near future the clergy and churchwardens will be having a Zoom meeting to discuss the best way forward.  It is looking like they will only be open for private prayer initially, watch this space.  So for now all we are doing will continue.

On Friday, 8th May, we celebrated and commemorated VE Day, I wonder if any of you had a tea party in the garden or took time to reflect on the peace that those armed services fought for.

Of course, it is Jesus that is the Prince of Peace and brings peace to both people and nations.  It is His peace that brings us joy as it is  his death and resurrection alone that brings us new life in Him.  I am praying that you remain well and safe.

    Best wishes,     Canon Jane
