  • Welcome to the Kingsthorpe Team Ministry

A warm welcome to the Kingsthorpe Team Ministry and our website.  Across our three churches - St. David's, St. John the Baptist's and St. Mark's - we have a variety of services and activities for people of all ages and stages in their journey of faith.  We offer a blend of traditional Eucharistic and contemporary worship, children's and youth activities, mid-week groups, and community events.

Whether you are a regular churchgoer or someone seeking to find out more about the Christian faith, we invite you to join us for friendship, fellowship and joyful celebration of the love of God.

Our vision is to grow together in faith
and to share God's love with all.

We take seriously our responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.  All of our children and youth work complies with the Team's Safe Parish policy.  A link to our Policy and Procedure can be found at the bottom of our Children and Youth page.

Canon Jane, our Team Rector writes...

A meeting of the clergy and PCC was called yesterday evening, 7th January, to discuss the situation in connection to the Coronavirus and especially the new variant.  It was felt by the clergy that at the moment it was unsafe to open the churches in the Kingsthorpe Team.  It was proposed that the churches remained closed on 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st January 2021.  This was passed 22 votes for, 1 against.  Therefore our churches will be closed until 31st January.  There is another Parochial Church Council meeting to dicuss the ongoing situation on 4th February.                                                                                                     I am sorry for those who are disappointed by this decision, but I do feel that it is the right decision to have been made.                                          The clergy and lay team will do everything they can for those who are finding not going to church difficulty.

With Best wishes,   Canon Jane                                                                 8th January 2021
