  • Welcome to the Kingsthorpe Team Ministry

A warm welcome to the Kingsthorpe Team Ministry and our website.  Across our three churches - St. David's, St. John the Baptist's and St. Mark's - we have a variety of services and activities for people of all ages and stages in their journey of faith.  We offer a blend of traditional Eucharistic and contemporary worship, children's and youth activities, mid-week groups, and community events.

Whether you are a regular churchgoer or someone seeking to find out more about the Christian faith, we invite you to join us for friendship, fellowship and joyful celebration of the love of God.

Our vision is to grow together in faith
and to share God's love with all.

    Safeguarding

We take seriously our responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.  All of our children and youth work complies with the Team's Safe Parish policy.  A link to our Policy and Procedure can be found at the bottom of our Children and Youth page.

Canon Jane, our team rector writes...

As I write this we are slowly coming out of lockdown, and also starting to open the churches.  We now have all of the three churches open for private prayer,  St David's on a Wednesday 10 - 11.30 am, and St John the Baptist and St Mark's are open 1.30 - 3 pm on a Sunday.  All are welcome.

We are also looking at opening for worship in August, the date to be confirmed.  All is being done to make the churches COVid safe and for you to feel safe as you come back.  It is good that we are moving forward and look forward to seeing as many people back as feel able to come.  For those unable to come we are hoping to keep the U-Tube services and booklets for those who would find it helpful.

It is important that we remember that we are on a journey as a parish and with God, and that he walks with us at all times as we navigate our way through this new normal.

    Best wishes,     Canon Jane
